The Division of Management Services is currently recruiting to fill a Facility Staff Training Program Instructor (Staff Development Program Specialist Senior) position. This position will be headquartered at the DOC central office in Madison, WI.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the development and delivery of training within the DOC. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, curriculum development, delivery and/or coordination, and evaluation of training delivered in the Facility Staff Training and Support (FSTS) Program. Responsibilities also include development, presentation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of on-going specialized staff development and training programs for DOC staff with an emphasis on staff working in facilities, both uniformed and non-uniformed.
Salary Information
The starting pay is between $57574 and $94993 per year, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. The pay schedule/range is 81-03. A 12-month probationary period is required.

Job Details

The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
