Secure building and occupants by maintaining alarm and fire protection devices.
Maintain lighting by installing light bulbs and ballasts, repairing electrical wiring and fixtures.
Maintain building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
Keep equipment operational, systems and building ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules, maintain maintenance records, follow policies and procedures, complete repairs and install replacement parts and report needed changes.
Maintain building accessibility and appearance by picking up litter and removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot.
Maintain the facility plumbing including all water fixtures and sprinklers.
Identify and correct hazardous property conditions.
General Responsibilities:
Paint and mow the lawn as well as clean the surrounding landscape.
Haul files and boxes, move furniture, set up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio-visual equipment following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines, and repair/install replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
Previous maintenance, construction and/or landscaping experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be able to utilize a work order maintenance system to receive and complete work orders
Must be able to work at heights above floor levels of up to fifty (50) feet utilizing ladders and/or automated lift devices and occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
Must be able to step, bend, climb, crawl, and reach in all directions with hands and arms
Must have general knowledge of machine and electrical hardware
Must be able to tolerate various climates and temperatures, including outside weather conditions or indoor climate controlled environments
May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, possess good manual dexterity, and hand/eye coordination
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to properly perform the assigned job duties
Must be able to perform basic computer functions to review, input and complete daily work assignments in a Work Order Management system
Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies
Must be able to follow all instructions, written and oral
Must be able to handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
Must be able to work in fast paced environment
Must be able to work flexible schedule including; evenings, weekends, holidays and promotional events
Must be able to work in a smoke filled casino environment
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions
Must possess or obtain an Oklahoma ABLE License, before beginning your first shift
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
