Job Summary:

Performs a variety of moderate to complex administrative duties to coordinate staff and community rental agreements for the use of District facilities, ensuring compliance with District policies, timelines, and procedures while providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



The duties listed below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed generally include the following:+ Manage the facility rental calendar and process requests
+ Answer inquiries from employees, vendors and liability insurance representatives relating to facility rental requests
+ Requests for the issuance of certificates of insurance
+ Processes invoices, receives and reconciles revenue for District facility rental.
+ Provide site training for scheduling software
+ Fosters relationships with community and other civic agencies to promote District facility usage.
+ Establish and maintain good rapport with school administration, employees and community.
+ Maintains information and publication of costs and procedures for District facility usage.
+ Distributes District vehicles checked out to District Administration Center staff.
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.




KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS


+ Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, regulations, ordinances and Peoria Unified policies and procedures.
+ Knowledge of the principles of customer service, general office operations, business office management, and records and database management.
+ Knowledge of the principles of Business English, grammar, spelling and preparation of correspondence.
+ Knowledge of the principles of bookkeeping and accounting.
+ Skill in reading, interpreting, understanding and applying relevant Federal, state and Peoria Unified rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
+ Skill in creating, preparing, and managing a variety of documents and reports for distribution.
+ Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers, vendors, students, parents, the general public, and others having business with the school district.
+ Skill in operating computers and related software applications efficiently and effectively.




MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


+ A High School Diploma or GED
+ Two (2) years of experience in a professional office;

OR

any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.




OTHER REQUIREMENTS


+ Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background clearance check.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona driver's license.
+ May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds
+ May be required to work outside normal working hours
+ May be required to travel to perform work functions
