We ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants and are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repair, capable of efficiently handling various tasks. This role is vital for maintaining the functionality and appearance of our properties, contributing to our high-quality service goals.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, addressing issues or repairs. Conduct repairs and troubleshoot equipment and systems to maintain functionality. Small engine maintenance. Perform general handyman tasks such as painting, carpentry, and minor renovations. Perform Landscaping, mulching, trimming trees and bushes. Identify and address potential hazards, safety concerns, or code violations. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Adhere to maintenance schedules and comply with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in facilities management. Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical. Proficient in performing various maintenance tasks. Effective troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Excellent time management and task prioritization in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands and Capability - Essential Job Functions:

Ability to push, carry, lift, and pull objects, and bend, squat, crawl, and climb repeatedly. Ability to work while standing, sitting, or lying down. Maneuverability in tight spaces. Capability of operating various machinery and equipment. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities, including focus adjustment and color differentiation. Ability to perform small repairs including wood, plumbing, grounds care, and changing light bulbs.

Salary:

$21-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
