Facility Cleaning Specialist

Facility Cleaning Specialist Major Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in various areas of the facility. Ensure that restrooms are clean, well-stocked, and properly maintained at all times. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers, ensuring the cleanliness of common areas. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors by sweeping, mopping, and polishing as necessary. Clean windows and glass surfaces to maintain a clear and spotless appearance. Monitor and replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels. Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations. Make responsible and ethical decisions regarding company resources, adhering to Mainstay's Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures, and ensuring compliance with company. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Site Supervisor. Adapt to and take on new tasks as needed to support the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong ability to prioritize work objectives and communicate work directives to staff in a professional, timely, and effective manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks, schedules, and records efficiently. Possess a pleasant demeanor and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, both internally and externally. Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Bilingual skills (e.g., proficiency in Spanish or another relevant language) are a plus. Must pass a complete background check, including drug screening and physical examination, to ensure compliance with company standards.

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

Experience:

Minimum age of 18 years. At least one (1) year of facility cleaning experience.

$14.00 per hour 3% pay increase after successful completion of 90 days of employment Paid biweekly

Proposed Hours + Travel

PT and FT hours available. Location: DeKalb County, GA
