Role Facilities Technician/ Electrical Journeyman
Location Colorado Springs, CO 80916
Duration 12+ months (possible extension)
Shift 1st shift
Pay Range $32 - $38 on W2 (all inclusive)
Job Summary:
Responsible for the installation, alteration, maintenance, or repair of the facility's electrical systems. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of electrical components. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
Overall Summary
Highly developed support individual contributor.
Works autonomously. May act as a mentor to lower-level peers and provide guidance on tasks.
Makes recommendations for solutions.
Works on assignments requiring judgment and initiative.
Education & Experience
Requires highly developed job knowledge/skills.
Requires a Electrician Journeyman's license, High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
