Position Summary:

The Part-Time Cleaner / Facilities Support is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming workplace environment. This position includes routine cleaning tasks, light upkeep of shared spaces, and the care of indoor and outdoor plants and flowers.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, and common areas. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners. Wipe down desks, counters, and high-touch surfaces with disinfectants. Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies. Dust furniture, fixtures, and windowsills. Clean glass doors and windows as needed. Restock cleaning and restroom supplies from storage. Water indoor plants and outdoor flowers according to schedule. Monitor plant health and notify supervisor if special care is needed. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs. Follow company safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Work Environment:

Primarily indoors with occasional outdoor flower-watering tasks. Must be able to use cleaning products safely and wear protective gear as required.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical cleaning tasks. * Dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of company property.
