Facilities Planning Supervisor
Job Description
Overview:
Electric Boat - Groton is seeking a Facilities Planning Supervisor who will lead a team of Planners in a fast paced environment performing planning in support of Groton Facilities Department.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Monitoring construction schedules
Oversee Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Planned Outages, and Unplanned Outage communication
Collecting and reporting status of job progress
Maintaining work package status
Performing tactical problem solving
Coordinate with other Production and Planning organizations
Overseeing maintenance department purchasing processes, such as: Oracle, PEWO system.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent 4+ years of experience in Facilities Planning 2+ Years experience working with a CMMS Program
Preferred:
Trade experience a Plus
Skills:
Excellent verbal / written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Skilled computer user Ability to maneuver the shipyard Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and high pressure situations with professionalism
