40 hours/week. Monday-Friday. 2:00 PM-10:30 PM. Year-round. Occasional overtime and adjusted shifts as needed.
General Responsibilities
Enhance the overall experience of students, staff, parents, and visitors in our district buildings
Support of day-to-day activities, staff, events, and general maintenance within assigned building(s)
Direct day-to-day supervision of Facility Services employees within the assigned building(s), primarily focusing on cleanliness, light maintenance, and event support
Assign and monitor the quality of cleaning and light maintenance work being done in assigned building(s)
Event support and set-up/tear-down
Coordinate and prioritize work of night staff
Communicate regularly with building staff, Building Lead, and Assistant Director of Facility Services on daily needs and long-term planning.
Ability to build strong working relationships with co-workers and staff
Respond in a courteous and helpful manner to all members of the community, treating them as our customers
Address performance issues of assigned staff as needed, in coordination with the Assistant Director of Facility Services.
Address personnel concerns of assigned staff in an effective manner to maximize the customer experience
Problem solve
Support the overall goals of the district, Facility Services Team, and Operations Department
Additional duties as directed by the Assistant Director of Facility Services

Ability to define a reasonable amount of time that a task should take, and hold employees to perform at that level of production
Scheduling the work in a manner that assures all tasks get completed
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, physically complete all tasks assigned, and move around the building throughout the assigned shift.
