Job Description

Overview


The Facilities Manager position is to ensure facilities that provide an optimal environment for congregational worship, congregational religious education, congregational fellowship, community counseling, student learning, and care for children. The facilities and grounds also are the first impression point for our guests. Staff and volunteers deserve to serve in facilities that are maintained and well kept. The Facilities Manager serves an important role in carrying out our vision of bringing everyone in our area of influence closer to Christ.

Duties



1. Maintenance

a. be the strong advocate of well maintained facilties

b. reply to concerns/complaints/issues in a timely manner

c. prioritize project work

d. install, repair, and maintain machinery, plumbing, physical structure, hvac, electrical wiring, and fixtures

e. perform preventative maintenance

f. assist with other campus tasks as needed (painting, room setups, mowing, snow removal, landscape bed maintenance)

2. Management

a. bring large concerns to Business Administrator

b. bring project lists to Business Administrator

c. work with Business Administrator on procuring bids from outside vendors

d. assist with annual budget submission

e. partner with Business Administrator on Akitabox facilities database

Pay: $58,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
