ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Support overall sustainment of industrial facility and grounds through preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Ability to self-direct and drive projects to completion with support from leadership
Maintains building, performing painting, and other related maintenance activities.
Maintenance of building and grounds including painting, cleaning, repairs, upgrades, or other maintenance related activities.
Performs drywall, trim, door, and plumbing repairs.
Installs hardware in manufacturing and office environments.
Manages materials and timeline for improvement projects.
Communicates with leaders of production areas to coordinate downtime for project execution.
Responds to emergent requests for repairs.
Helps create an efficient manufacturing facility by sweeping, removing trash, and cleaning debris
Performs major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment and works with management to develop project plans.
Could potentially encounter hazardous chemicals.

QUALIFICATIONS
:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience:
Expected: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
Industrial construction experience preferred.
Communication Skills:Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Other Skills:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
