Summary
The Facilities and Equipment Engineering Supervisor is to maintain and improve the company's facility and semiconductor manufacturing capabilities. This position requires membership in the Emergency Response Team (ERT). As an equipment engineer, you will be responsible for: equipment maintenance and repair; equipment design or re- design and potentially construction; design and implement maintenance policies and procedures; provide direction as required for the technicians; communicate plans, project requirements, and, as required, project status to management and team stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the modification, upgrade and maintenance (including test, diagnose, analyze and repair) of both critical facilities and semiconductor processing equipment;
As needed, develop or improve both equipment and maintenance procedures for existing systems;
Support production equipment in extremely complex problem situations;
Design and implement data acquisition systems for fab equipment systems;
Track/report instrument performance and process monitor data at system and component level; implement and or establish recovery protocols to efficiently get system problems resolved;
Fulfill team objectives of overall improvement in production efficiency and quality while significantly and appropriately increasing the use of automated equipment;
Assist Manufacturing and QEHS departments as required in multiple-person situations;
You will be an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
Maintain all required training and training renewal certifications;
Adhere to company's policies and procedures;
Company is a 24x7 operation. Night or weekend support as required.
