Job Description

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Facilities Technician/Housekeeper for a client located in Conroe, TX to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Pay: $16-$18/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week
Summary
Responsible for maintaining and supporting a 19-acre manufacturing facility with 200,000 sq. ft. of under-roof space. Duties include troubleshooting equipment and building systems, performing electrical and plumbing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and assisting with facility housekeeping and grounds upkeep.
Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Perform routine preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues.
• Conduct inspections as directed by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor.
• Perform work-at-height activities under JSA and Permit-to-Work protocols.
• Assist with sea container load-in/load-out and heavy lift activities.
• Maintain facility grounds, green belt areas, and shop cleanliness.
• Support housekeeping tasks across the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (or as deemed sufficient by management).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Good English communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic office software.
