Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Environmental Health and Safety Administrator to join our team at Spraying Systems Co. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating systems to meet and/or surpass regulatory compliance as well as work with manufacturing to assist goals for plant equipment management and facility support systems that meet our sustainability goals. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and management of compliance programs with local, state, and federal agencies such as OSHA, OSFM, EPA, etc.
Familiarity with current trends in Facilities Management such as Factory CAD, TPM, Energy Management, etc.
Evaluate and implement compliance program as appropriate and feasible (EPA & OSHA).
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Management.
Plant and office planning and design.
Provide technical support for Manufacturing and Maintenance activities.
Evaluate and recommend changes to systems to meet or exceed local, state, and federal compliance standards.
Evaluate and recommend support systems such as power distribution, HVAC systems, lubrication distribution, coolants distribution and filtration, compressed air generation and distribution.
Provide computer related technical support to assist manufacturing, specifically AutoCad.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement energy management programs.
Monitor and maintain multiple plant systems.
Evaluate, recommend and oversee the use of oils, coolants, and cleaning fluids in manufacturing.
Provide support to the ISO programs and assist in maintaining documentation for the ISO 14000 environmental program.
Supports company continuous improvement programs.
Assist in the handling of hazardous waste when needed and annually training thereafter, assist in the handling of hazardous waste when needed.
Requirements
B.S. degree in an engineering discipline or its equivalent in technical education and work related experience.
Experience with regulatory compliance programs, SDS evaluations and Hazmat coordination is a plus.
Strong computer aptitude.
The ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment is essential.
The ability to work effectively with people in all areas of the organization.
Good written and verbal communication skills are required
Pay: $75,000-$100,000 total compensation (includes monthly team variable bonus) based on proven experience
