Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes, welding plastic or metal, and mechanical assembly, with experience working on construction sites or in industrial environments. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of materials and tools, contributing to the production of high-quality components and structures. Candidates should possess excellent technical skills, safety awareness, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements Operate various power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment Perform various fabrication tasks including fit up and welding of parts Use tape measures, squares, levels, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for accurate fabrication Cut, shape, and assemble machine modules and tanks Rigging and rigging-related tasks for lifting and positioning heavy materials using cranes or forklifts Thread pipes and perform machining tasks as needed for assembly projects Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites or manufacturing floors Maintain detailed records of work performed and adhere to quality standards

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication within construction sites or manufacturing environments Proficiency in MIG or TIG welding; or finish carpentry Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, assembly, mechanics, and machining, Ability to operate power tools such as hand tools, grinders, drills, and forklifts safely Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings for accurate fabrication work Prior experience with rigging operations involving cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
