Overview:

Responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC, NC, and conventional machines to form and fabricate aircraft parts. Responsible for using hand tools, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments such as a scale, protractors, and calipers by performing the following duties.

:Makes adjustments and uses appropriate skilled judgment to obtain high quality parts per engineering specifications. Practices safe work habits. Uses materials or tool moving equipment as needed. Operates the heat plate in preparing parts for forming on press brake. Maintains good housekeeping and cleanliness of work area. Records each labor performance correctly. Utilizes AX and uses for clocking purposes for the handling of scrap parts. Utilizes various tools to check parts Operates various machines in a safe matter. Makes various improvements in the work area to increase the quality of work.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
