Fabrication Operator - 1st Shift (Built-In Overtime for the Holidays).

Location:

Union, MO.

Schedule:

Full-Time | 1st Shift | 48-hour workweek (subject to change).

Pay:

About the Role:

As a 1st Shift Fabrication Operator at Gateway Extrusions, you'll help turn aluminum profiles into finished, customer-ready parts. Using fabrication machinery and measuring tools, you'll keep production moving smoothly, accurately, and safely.

Work Schedule (48-hour week):

Monday-Thursday: 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

48 hours a week = 8 hours of automatic overtime every week, perfect for adding extra holiday cash.

Schedule is subject to change as production needs shift, and

overtime will ease after the holiday season

, returning to a standard

40-hour week

, still with weekends off.

What You'll Do:

Operate fabrication machinery such as punch presses, drills, saws, and related tools. Fabricate aluminum profiles to print and customer specifications. Inspect material and finished parts for scratches, dents, twists, or dimensional issues. Verify measurements using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. Complete work orders accurately and on time. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area.
Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet production goals.

What You Bring:

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers). Basic math and computer skills; blueprint reading preferred. Dependability, good attendance, and a safety-first mindset.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
