We are seeking an Eyelet Toolmaker to join our team.

Pay will ultimately be based on experience / qualifications

Regular 40 hour work week is Monday - Thursday 6 AM - 4 PM. Overtime on Fridays as needed

Responsibilities:

Set up, develop, maintain, and repair both new and existing tools in Waterbury Farrel / US Baird production presses in a timely manner Utilize tool room equipment (lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, hone, etc.) to ensure function of production tools. Teach/supervise apprentices Occasionally work with other toolmakers / engineering in a team setting Work proficiently in an independent manor Ensure quality of work on production line with various measuring tools Load and unload equipment and materials Conduct routine preventive maintenance Conduct logs and record readings of work for in house procedures
Qualifications:

5 Years experience on Waterbury Farrel or US Baird production presses Stamping / progressive press experience a plus CNC lathe/mill experience a plus Familiarity with plant tools and equipment (ex. Micrometer, Comparator, Dial Caliper, Indicator, Overhead Crane, Pallet Jack) Ability to handle physical workload Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well with others Ability to lift items occasionally over 40-50 lbs High school diploma / GED or equivalent
