Responsibilities

Operate extrusion machinery to produce plastic products according to specifications. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to verify product dimensions. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe working environment. Fabricate components as needed and assist in the setup of new jobs. Maintain accurate records of production data and report any discrepancies.

Experience

Previous experience in plastics extrusion or related manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is beneficial. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments is essential.
