We are currently hiring an

Extruder Operator I

to join our growing operations team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our production lines operate efficiently and safely, while delivering exceptional product quality.

What You'll Do

As an Extruder Operator I, you will:


Perform start-up and shutdown procedures for 1-2 extrusion lines following established operating protocols.

Monitor film quality throughout production: checking thickness, width, and visual appearance to ensure all standards are met.

Load raw materials and maintain continuous operation of the extruder.

Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Keep accurate records of production data and material usage.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, supporting 5S and safety initiatives.

Collaborate with your team during changeovers and daily operations to meet production goals.

Participate in ongoing training and development to advance your skills and qualify for higher operator classifications.

What We're Looking For

1-2 years of experience in extrusion experience.

Ability to read and use measuring tools, such as tape measures and calipers.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 65 lbs for extended periods.

Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Work Environment

This is a full-time hourly position working

8:00 AM-8:00 PM

or

8:00 PM-8:00 AM

on a rotating monthly schedule (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next). Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where PPE is required at all times.
