Project Consultant (Exterior):



The Project Consultant's primary goal is to sell exterior remodeling projects that customers love. This role includes sales, design, estimating, & pre-construction preparation for projects such as siding, decks, windows, doors, soffit/fascia replacement, roof covers, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, screened porches, and other types of projects.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Sales:



1) Call new leads within 1 day to schedule initial appointments.

2) Meet with new leads to consult about working with Willet Construction.

3) Sell potential customers on how we can fix their problems with the best service.

4) Create & present feasibility estimates when they are needed.

5) Present construction proposals & sell the project into construction.

6) Promote Willet Construction and find new potential customers to bring in.

7) Record lead activities in BuilderTrend.

8) Work at the Home & Garden Show, Remodelers Tour, and maybe other events.

Design:



1) Work within our design/development process when projects apply.

2) Measure the existing home for drawings & measurements.

3) Build accurate drawings, 3D renderings, & elevations of projects using Chief Architect, Home Designer Pro, & Hover when needed.

4) Design with customers to provide product selection assistance.

Estimating:



1) Develop the scope-of-work for the Construction Proposal.

2) Estimate direct projects costs - including materials, labor, subcontractor & other direct costs using our estimating catalog.

Pre-Construction:



1) Prepare job folders for the Production Manager.

2) Finalize all selections with the customer.

3) Enter project information into BuilderTrend including documents, plans, selections, and all other important information for the production team.

4) Notify subcontractors of job sold status & finalize sub quotes to match the project's scope-of-work.

5) Create/draw permit plans & obtain approved building permits.

6) Walk-through & demonstrate BuilderTrend with customers.

7) Order products assigned to Designer & Estimator in "Who Orders What" sheet.

8) Prepare siding and deck material orders for the Production Manager to review.

9) Make check-in calls to pre-construction customers to update the status of the project.

Other:



1) Keep up-to-date with your construction projects including jobsite visits, communicating with homeowners, and monitoring BuilderTrend.

2) Estimate, enter, & finalize change orders.

3) Coordinate a final walkthrough at the end of each project

4) Have a broad knowledge of building products and construction practices.

5) Bi-weekly meetings with your Sales Manager to update progress and predict contract closings for Production Manager

Past employment in the construction industry

Sandler Sales training

Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
