We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring smooth service by delivering food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. Duties

Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately Assist servers with food presentation and table setup as needed Ensure all food items are served at proper temperatures and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting for new guests Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of service Assist with basic food preparation or garnishing when required Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders when necessary Provide exceptional guest service by being attentive, courteous, and responsive to guest needs

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards Experience with serving, bussing, or supporting banquet events is advantageous Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Kitchen or culinary experience, including cooking or food preparation skills, is beneficial Hotel or guest services experience can enhance the ability to deliver outstanding customer care Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
