Duties
Assist in food presentation by plating dishes according to restaurant standards and ensuring they are visually appealing before delivery to guests
Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to dining areas swiftly, accurately, and with friendly professionalism
Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs promptly
Maintain food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and adhering to proper sanitation procedures
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using tools such as Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to relay special requests or modifications
Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including garnishing or portioning ingredients under supervision
Help manage the flow of service during busy hours, ensuring smooth operations in coordination with culinary staff and front-of-house team
Uphold guest service excellence by providing friendly, attentive support that enhances overall dining satisfaction
Skills
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, including roles such as busser, food runner, or expo
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and communication
Experience with banquet service or large-scale events is a plus
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
Basic culinary knowledge for assisting with food preparation or garnishing dishes
Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and energetic approach
Knowledge of food safety standards and protocols to ensure guest safety at all times
Hospitality experience from hotels or catering services is advantageous but not required
