North Kenny Veterinary Hospital

is looking for an

Experienced Veterinary Assistant or a Veterinary Technician Student that has a positive attitude and the self-efficiency for a 4 DVM practice.

North Kenny is a fear free/low stress small animal general practice with a focus on educating clients to come prepared for gold standard medicine each visit. We are a team, and that means a lot to us. We are cohesive from front to back and strive to maintain an enjoyable environment. North Kenny is a well-rounded facility dealing with wellness and illness visits, prevention, in-house and reference lab work (IDEXX), cytology's, therapy laser, dentistry, and surgeries. Our plan is to always continue growing and improving and we are looking for team members that want to do that with us.

Ideal candidate:

Can stay calm and efficient during stressful situations Well-spoken and approaches his/her job duties in a mature nature Experienced in the teamwork approach and works well with all levels of hospital team members Has excellent communication skills Patient and nurturing to pets while staying empathetic to owners Detail oriented Believes that pets are part of the family Able to multi-task while being both efficient and thorough

Job Proposal:

$15-18 based on experience shifts are 7:30am-6pm(flexible), Saturdays are 745am-12pm Full timers work 4x10s cross- trained as Veterinary Assistant and Customer Service Representative. Only 1 Saturday a month Schedules are made 4-6 weeks in advance Holiday's off
