Greenpoint Veterinary Hospital is an established community veterinary hospital deeply devoted to pet health and client care. We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant to support our growing team.

As a Veterinary Assistant you will support our techs and doctors throughout the day.

A typical day might include:

- Greeting pets and their owners!

- Restraining and comforting cats and dogs for exams and treatments.

- Preparing treatment plans alongside the doctors.

- Reviewing treatment plans with the clients.

- Maintaining a clean work environment.

- Giving lots of love and treats out!

We want to meet you if:

- Everything you have read so far sounds good.

- You have at least one year of experience in the veterinary field.

- You are comfortable obtaining blood samples and would like to continue to learn and grow.

Other relevant info:

- Benefit package includes subsidized health insurance, continuing education, paid time off, retirement plan, profit-sharing bonuses pre-tax transit, pre-tax dental/vision, and a pet health plan.

- Position is for 10 hour shifts and 4 days a week.

- Salary is based on experience but can range from ($20/hour to $27/hour)
