Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join TreeBoss. We are launching hard in December 2025 with a brand-new fleet. We're running 3 crews by Spring 2026 and need one elite climber who can lead cuts and run rigging on 60-100 ft trees. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in tree care, trimming, and rigging, with a strong background in horticulture and landscape maintenance. This role involves working at heights using bucket trucks and other climbing equipment to safely prune, remove, and maintain trees across various properties. Responsibilities

CDL Required Safely climb and work at heights using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment for elevated work tasks Utilize rigging techniques to control the fall of large branches or trees during removal or pruning processes Conduct landscape maintenance including lawn care, planting, and general horticultural tasks as needed Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry best practices Assist in the setup and breakdown of work zones, including the use of appropriate safety signage and barriers Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform routine inspections for safety compliance

Experience

Proven experience as a Tree Climber with a strong understanding of tree care, trimming, and removal techniques Hands-on experience with rigging, bucket operation, and bucket truck use in arboricultural settings Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred Knowledge of GIS applications related to land assessment or planning beneficial Familiarity with landscaping practices such as lawn care and general landscape maintenance is a plus Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols when working at heights or around heavy machinery Prior experience in arboriculture or related fields such as horticulture or landscape management is highly desirable

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
