We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a Certified Arborist with a passion for tree care and the ability to work at heights and perform various tree trimming and care tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture and the ability to operate specialized equipment such as bucket trucks / Ariel lifts.
Duties
Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access trees at various heights.
Utilize rigging techniques for safe and efficient tree removal or trimming.
Assess tree health and provide recommendations for care based on growing experience.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality results.
Qualifications
Proven experience in tree care, trimming, or removal is preferred.
Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe operation of bucket trucks.
Strong understanding of horticulture principles and practices..
Ability to work at heights safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
A valid driver's license will be required based on job responsibilities. A CDL is a plus!
