Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server / Bartender to join our team in a vibrant downtown environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Server / Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, taking care of tables, maintaining the bar area, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending or similar roles within a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices. Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food service practices and hospitality standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques.
