We are seeking an experienced server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, wine, food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with various POS systems. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Provide guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
Support sanitation and food handling procedures to uphold health standards
Skills
Proven experience as a server in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to upsell menu items effectively through sales techniques
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
Previous experience in hospitality environments such as nightclubs or casual dining is a plus
Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, serving etiquette, and guest relations
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
