Residential AV Technician
Smart Home Systems is looking for qualified individuals to join our fast paced team in an exciting and growing industry providing installation and service for residential and commercial A/V, security, and automation systems.

The ideal candidates are professionally oriented, passionate about quality audio and video systems, innovative, outgoing, love a challenge and like being a part of a growing firm. This position requires the knowledge and expertise to install basic to complex high performance audio, video, cinema, lighting control, climate control, and automation systems. IT system knowledge desired. Prefer 2-3 years of experience with Crestron, Lutron and Control4. Product specific training provided for the right candidate.

General Job Responsibilities:

Rough-in and trim of audio/video/communication/security cabling in new construction and remodel projects Termination and connection of wiring as determined by the project Installation, configuration and testing of components according to company quality standards Assembly, wiring, and installation of equipment racks and wiring harnesses Programming and commissioning of systems Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks Follow general building codes and construction requirements Other duties as assigned by the project managers
