Job Description

We are assembling the founding faculty for a new performing arts school opening in Jersey City in 2026. The school will offer training in dance, voice, acting, and musical theatre, with a unique approach: rigorous and professional, yet centered on the individual. We believe that true artistic excellence begins with personal growth, confidence, and authenticity.

The project is led by

Priscillia Assohou

, a French performer and singer with over 20 years of experience. She has starred in major musicals such as The Lion King (as Nala) and Wicked, and has lent her voice to productions for Disney and Netflix. After two decades on stage, she is now bringing her vision to education: creating a space where students are valued not only for their performance but also for who they are as individuals.

We are seeking experienced artists and educators who share this philosophy, ready to train the next generation of performers while shaping a pedagogy that values the human being as much as the art.

? Who we're looking for

Professional background in

singing, dance, acting, or musical theatre

Strong

teaching experience

with children and teens (references required) Ability to combine

rigor and care

love for transmission

and the desire to shape the next generation Bonus: bilingual (English/French), or experience with multidisciplinary programs

Must be based in Jersey City / NYC area (on-site role, no remote teaching)
