We are seeking an experienced passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that each customer has a delightful experience. Will have responsibilities of food handling, pastries, baking.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of customers. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. A genuine interest in coffee culture and knowledge of various brewing methods is a plus. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 36 per week
