Job Description

We are looking for an experienced painter to join our team!

Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Use power tools and equipment to sand, scrape, and smooth surfaces
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatter
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary

-Can install baseboards, trim, and other building materials to finish a job

-Punch list items at the end of a job

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter in various settings such as residential, commercial, or industrial
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting specifications
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work area
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time

-Strong customer service skills and communication

Note: Experience in frame carpentry, maintenance person work, masonry, or other related fields is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
