Langen Meats has been serving the Greater Cincinnati area since 1924. We are a family-owned butcher shop focused on service to our customers and offering quality products.

Summary:

The Meat Cutter/Counter Person first and foremost is responsible for customer relations and satisfaction. He/She will perform duties relating to the cutting,preparation,display,and selling of meat products.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge,greet,and engage customers as they arrive to provide efficient and courteous customer service.

Fulfill customer orders including preparing,packaging,weighing,and pricing meat.

Maintain a clean and well stocked service counter

Assist in food preparation.

Receive,unload,and merchandise product deliveries.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas

Requirements

Experience as a meat cutter/deli clerk is preferred

High energy,enthusiastic,and displays an affinity for our products

Exceptional customer service skills,great attitude,professional manner

Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures

Knowledge of proper knife handling and use of other cutting equipment

Ability to perform all physical aspects of the job including but not limited to walking,standing,bending and lifting up to 50 lbs

Ability to work for periods of up to 8 to 10 hours

Ability to work Saturdays
