Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our LIHTC property team. The ideal candidate will have experience in multifamily housing maintenance, a strong understanding of LIHTC compliance, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems
Conduct unit turnovers and prepare apartments for new residents
Maintain curb appeal and common areas, including landscaping and janitorial tasks
Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders efficiently
Ensure all maintenance work complies with LIHTC regulations and safety standards
Assist with inspections and compliance audits
Maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or affordable housing
Familiarity with LIHTC compliance and inspection standards
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Availability for on-call rotation and emergency response
