The Sanes & Larkin Law Firm, LLP is a boutique personal injury trial law firm located in a calm, quiet law office in Pearland. Scott Sanes has been a prominent Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Attorney for over 40 years and is seeking an assistant who is specifically experienced in personal injury secretarial or legal assistant work which includes preparing and responding to discovery and ordering and organizing medical records and bills. The position has flexible hours anywhere from 25-35 hours of contract work weekly and should be particularly attractive to candidates looking for a flexible hourly position because of other commitments, ie. personal injury legal secretaries and assistants that are recently retired, attending continuing education or have young family commitments. This position allows you to choose your hours around your personal schedule in a quiet, peaceful environment.

Opening for a 25-40 hour per week legal assistant/paralegal for Scott Sanes at The Sanes & Larkin Law Firm LLP, a personal injury law firm in Pearland.

Qualified Candidates must possess at minimum of 5 years of personal injury legal secretarial or paralegal background, Plaintiff work preferred, the ability to prepare and respond to discovery, order and organize medical records and bills and superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work efficiently. Candidate must also possess a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.

The candidate MUST also have the following experience and qualifications to be considered for the position:

(1) Proficient writing skills;

(2) Experience in preparing and responding to personal injury discovery and answering discovery with clients;

(3) Open to guiding feedback;

(4)Prefer candidates have knowledge and be competent in working with Microsoft Word, Outlook and QuickBooks;

(5)Creating, filing and/or organizing exhibits, medical records, discovery, and other documents for depositions, mediations and trials;

(6) Communicating and coordinating with medical providers in connection with cases filed in state and federal court;

(7) Deadline and detail-oriented; and

(8)Cheerful disposition.
