Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and educate students across various age groups and skill levels. This role involves creating engaging fiber art class programming as well as servicing or drop in all level class style. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to friendly welcoming service. This paid position also requires strong sales skills with knowledge of the features and benefits of yarn and fiber arts tools

Duties

Assist with development of classes and workshops

Deliver instruction to workshop and drop in students Maintain a positive high energy environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and active participation. Maintain on going familiarity with the shops inventory and actively engage in sales with customers Maintain basic restocking and straightening of store shelves
Experience

Previous experience in fiber arts teaching required Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with students of diverse backgrounds. Familiarity with local yarn shop culture as well as a liberal open attitude required
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 15 per week
