Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Floral Designer to join our team on a part-time morning schedule.

You MUST be able to work everyday Monday - Friday from 8am - 2pm daily.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral artistry and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful floral arrangements that meet our clients' needs. Responsibilities

Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal Assist customers in selecting floral products, providing expert advice on floral design and plant care Maintain the floral display area, ensuring it is attractive, organized, and well-stocked Manage inventory levels of flowers, supplies, and related products through stock replenishment and merchandising Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, processing sales efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays that highlight seasonal themes and promotional items Perform light gardening or landscape maintenance tasks as needed to support overall store presentation Uphold cleanliness standards in the workspace to ensure a safe and inviting environment

Experience

Proven experience in floral design or related horticultural fields such as gardening or landscape maintenance Familiarity with retail sales processes including POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and stock management Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory control Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Knowledge of e-commerce platforms related to floral or garden products is desirable Prior experience with lawn care or landscape maintenance is advantageous but not required Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
