Job Title: Experienced Equipment Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy machinery and equipment on job sites, performing tasks efficiently, and supporting overall project goals. This position requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and effective communication with supervisors and crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, bulldozers, or other machinery as required.

Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Follow all company and job site safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.

Communicate with supervisors to understand project expectations and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

Identify and report any mechanical issues or hazards promptly.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Support general labor tasks when needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.

Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus but not required.

Ability to read and follow instructions, site plans, and safety guidelines.

Strong understanding of equipment capabilities, limitations, and safe operating procedures.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to sit, stand, climb, or operate machinery for extended periods.

Ability to work in physically demanding environments.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed based on project demands.
