What We're Looking For
2+ years of professional grooming experience
Ability to groom all breeds & sizes confidently
Skilled in breed-standard cuts, hand-scissoring, deshedding, mat removal, nail trimming, ear cleaning
Strong handling and low-stress grooming techniques
Excellent customer service and communication
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Ability to lift large-breed dogs when needed
Cat grooming experience is a plus but not required
Grooming school certification preferred
Your Responsibilities
Full-service grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, styling, nails, ears, and sanitary trims
Groom dogs according to breed standard or client preference
Assess coat/skin condition and communicate with pet parents professionally
Maintain a clean, safe, organized grooming area
Prioritize animal comfort, emotional well-being, and safety
Stay current with grooming trends, products, and tools
Maintain accurate grooming notes and client preferences
Work collaboratively with the Pawsome Vita team
Compensation
