Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Experienced Cleaner/Custodian to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial and residential properties. Your expertise in cleaning, janitorial tasks, floor care, and custodial services will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Execute industrial cleaning tasks Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning tools and materials are properly stored and maintained. Assist with custodial responsibilities such as window washing, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting to promote a healthy environment. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or structural issues. Provide porter services including moving furniture or equipment as needed and supporting general building upkeep.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thoroughness in all cleaning activities. Previous experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
