Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and refreshers.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system
- Provide excellent customer service always, ensuring a positive and friendly experience for all customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the dining area, restroom, and workstations, as per health code and company standards
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverage items
- Help run food, clean and reset tables, and complete other side work tasks, as we are a pool house.

Experience:
- Minimum 1.5-2 years as a barista is required, as we are a fast-paced cafe/restaurant
- Familiarity with Toast POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service

- Ability to accurately run a waitlist and quote guests' wait times

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old as we do serve alcohol

Alcohol certification (TIPS or ServeSafe) or obtain an Alcohol certification within 30 days of being hired

Must have flexible availability, including Nights and Weekends shifts

Must possess a positive attitude and always be willing to learn
