We are seeking an experienced Handy Man to join our team, providing reliable and skilled maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various maintenance person tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety and functionality of residential or commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate Install, repair, or replace fixtures, appliances, and systems as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after projects Collaborate with clients or property managers to understand project requirements and provide effective solutions Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar maintenance role Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is preferred Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks safely Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory
