Responsibilities

Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure orders are prepared accurately and promptly Monitor food preparation progress and communicate updates to the service team Plate and assemble dishes according to presentation standards before delivery to guests Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed at all times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station

Skills

Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional attitude Ability to work well under pressure during peak hours, demonstrating teamwork and adaptability Basic understanding of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and hospitality practices
