Dentistry By Design is hiring! Come join our practice located in the MidCity area of New Orleans and on Canal Street. As a practice, we are true believers that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. Not only do we care about providing exceptional care, but Dr. Amos continues to give back to the community on an ongoing basis. We are searching for an amazing Expanded Duty Dental Assistant to join our team! We are looking for a great team player, someone who is upbeat, motivated, driven, has great communication skills and is always willing to jump in and help. This position is full-time, Monday through Thursday (9am to 5pm) and does require some Fridays and 1 Saturday per month. REQUIREMENTS: -Proven experience as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience) -Experience with front desk would be considered an asset, but willing to cross train -Understanding of health and safety regulations -Good computer skills -Excellent communication and people skills -Attention to detail -Experience with Open Dental would be ideal, but not required.
