Job Description

Finn Hill Animal Hospital is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Veterinary Kennel Attendant. We are a small, but extremely busy, privately owned two doctor practice. Applicants must be team motivated with a strong work ethic and flexible schedule. Prior experience in a Veterinary Clinic is preferred but willing to train the right person. Weekends shifts are included in the position.

Duties would include (but are not limited to):

Janitorial duties (sweeping, moping, trash, etc) Cleaning dirty kennels Caring for boarders Washing dishes and litterboxes Restocking as needed Keeping the hospital well maintained and presentable Animal restraint/ occasionally assisting the Doctor and Techs Using a web based practice management system Effectively communicating between all members of staff Relaying messages accurately to the doctor and in a timely manor Being computer-literate and have the ability to learn new systems and protocols
Personal Requirements:

Ability to muti-task in a fast paced environment Keep a clean and professional appearance Be dependable and consistent Ability to be professional with clients and fellow coworkers Ability to be fairly flexible in available work hours, and open to changes in schedule when needed Prior experience in a Veterinary Clinic is preferred, but willing to train the right person

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
