Minimum Qualifications

Six years of experience in administrative services; OR



Six years of full-time experience in any field plus three years of experience in administrative services; OR



A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in administrative services; OR



An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus two years of experience in administrative services.



EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

Coordinates the Financial Review Committee by organizing agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Supports the Executive Director and Senior Advisor by maintaining a centralized tracker of agency memos and briefing materials. Serves as back-up safety coordinator for the Director's Office and prepares the Executive Director for legislative sessions by coordinating needed documents and materials with the legislative affairs team. Acts as a primary liaison between the Medicaid Executive Director and key partners, including the Governor's Office, State Medicaid Directors, NAMD, LDH agencies, MCO leadership, major vendors, providers, and stakeholder groups. Manages the Executive Director and Senior Advisor's calendars, coordinates and prepares meetings, and develops materials for high-level meetings and conferences. Oversees administrative operations for the Medicaid Executive Director's Office, including HR documentation, meeting coordination, and reviewing correspondence for accuracy. Receives and analyzes monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports from Medicaid Section Chiefs, compiling and submitting required summaries to LDH leadership. Leads and participates in special projects related to program operations, stakeholder inquiries, recipient issues, and agency process improvements. Responds to high-level inquiries from state, federal, and local officials, stakeholders, and recipients, ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up. Attends meetings on matters of importance to the Executive Director and prepares or reviews reports with recommended actions.
