Camber Children's Mental Health is hiring a visionary Executive Director to lead our acute and residential psychiatric treatment programs for children and teens in Hays, KS. In this senior leadership role, you'll oversee daily operations, guide cross-functional teams, ensure compliance, and foster an inclusive, trauma-informed care environment that transforms lives.

What You'll Do:

Lead the strategic and operational performance of residential and hospital-based programs Manage cross-disciplinary teams and department leaders to ensure exceptional patient outcomes Maintain licensure, accreditation, and regulatory compliance (TJC, COA, CMS, etc.) Champion a safe, inclusive, and culturally relevant environment for both clients and staff Partner with internal teams and community stakeholders to enhance services and expand reach Oversee fiscal performance, business development, and contract management Mentor, develop, and retain high-performing leadership across all service areas Serve as a bridge between Camber and the broader KVC Health Systems network

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare Admin, Public Health, or clinical field required (MBA, MHA, or advanced clinical licensure preferred)


Experience: 7+ years in healthcare leadership, including 3+ in a senior management role (Behavioral health or acute psychiatric experience strongly preferred)


Skills: Strong knowledge of compliance, accreditation, financial management, and team leadership


Other: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, valid driver's license and auto insurance required
