Job Description

Elder Care/Dickinson Public Transit in Dickinson is currently seeking applications for the position of Executive Director.

Elder Care is a local nonprofit organization which serves our community by providing meal program services to seniors, as well as providing transit services to the general public in the Dickinson community.

Under the direction of the Elder Care Management Board, the Director is responsible for coordinating all phases of program operations. The Director shall be responsible for fiscal and personnel management, marketing, program planning and development, and human resources. The Executive Director of Elder Care/Dickinson Public Transit will work closely with a dedicated team of employees who are passionate about the community they serve. Duties are conducted in adherence to state and federal requirements and laws.

Education/Knowledge Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Masters degree is helpful.

Ability and experience in program planning, personnel management, and human resources.

Knowledge of and ability to obtain funding from federal, state and community sources and grants.

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

Knowledge of Human Resource practices and related legal issues.

Strong supervisory and communication skills.

Advanced computer skills - Word,Excel, and PowerPoint (or equivalent).

Work requires continual attention to detail and accuracy in composing, typing and proofing, analyzing information, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Must be able to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Time management skills are necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
