Wings Recovery is San Diego's Premier Primary Mental Health Treatment Center Exclusively for Adult Women, Transgender & Nonbinary Individuals. All of our programs include both individual and group therapy, including a wide range of evidence-based and holistic therapies. At Wings, we specialize in trauma-focused therapies like EMDR and IFS because we know that trauma often lies at the root of mental health disorders. We also offer holistic therapies like equine therapy, mindfulness, and expressive arts because, in order to truly take root, healing must include your mind, body, and spirit.

The

Executive Clinical Director

is responsible for the oversight of both the men's and women's programs. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of Wings clinical operations and program-level performance. This includes performance across clinical and administrative objectives. The Executive Clinical Director also serves as the Administrator of the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients Provides leadership and management of the women's and men's clinical operations; leads team to achieve key clinical performance indicators such as client lengths-of-stay, AMAs, facilitation of client admissions and transitions within levels of care as needed, and ADC. The Executive Clinical Director is responsible for the communication with the leadership concerning the administrative operations of the facility. Works with clinical leadership of the men's and women's programs to implement quality initiatives, clinical trainings and ensures fidelity to the clinical model Works with Leadership to ensure safety and compliance with all governing bodies and internal policies and procedures. Oversees treatment team to ensure clinical excellence and the delivery of appropriate clinical interventions. Coordinates with insurance payors and third party medical billers to advocate for client treatment including conducting peer reviews as needed to support Clinical Leadership Provide on-site support as needed for Clinical Leadership Work with Leadership at each program to promote a positive team culture Signs off and reviews clinical documentation when needed. Provide supervision, support and coaching to employees. Other management activities include (but are not limited to): Interviewing, hiring, goal development, onboarding and ensuring continuous training requirements and compliance items are met. Requirements:



Master's in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work. Valid LMFT or LCSW. Licenses/Certifications:

Current (California) state licensure

(LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or equivalent). Minimum of 2-4 years of clinical leadership experience in mental health. Knowledge of the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision needed by clients, including the ability to communicate with such clients. Knowledge of and ability to comply with applicable law and regulation. Familiarity with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS) and experience ensuring compliance. Knowledge of and belief in the principles of client centered treatment. Knowledge of medications and interventions preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance. Hiring is contingent upon receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption, a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508), a TB test, and clearance on an employment physical.
